We believe great storytelling is a bit like mistaking wasabi for avocado – you should feel it before you understand what’s happening. And maybe for a moment you’re scared, you have just inhaled 3.3 grams of wasabi. But then you remember you’re with your friends – your friends who love you. And no amount of wasabi-induced fear could eclipse the infinite sunrise that is knowing you are loved in this world. And as they call the waiter over in slow-motion, while you attempt to sand-down the end of your tongue with a serviette, you realise the story is all around you, always – you just need to know where to look.

The em dash used to signal human nuance, thought and emotion. Now it just signals AI. Oh the humanity! So, we created the am dash, an entirely new punctuation mark that AI can’t use.
